The Macalester Bay Area Alumni Chapter steering committee invites alumni to Mac Alumni Night at the Asian Art Museum. The evening will begin with happy hour at Cafe Asia. Following happy hour attendees are invited to explore the current exhibitions, which include exhibits on yoga, mandalas, and calligraphy.

Come drink beer brewed by Mac alumni in restaurant owned by a Mac alum with a bunch of other Mac alumni! Surly Brewing is taking over the taps at Zeke's Unchained Animal, and owner Sean Cooke '09 is shutting down the place just for yMac on Saturday, May 3 from 2-4 p.m. Surly's will be $4 and appetizers are on yMac.

Join alumni for the Seventh Annual Macalester Alumni Summer Session: Why Global Health Matters. Faculty Convener Christy Hanson and faculty from the Community and Global Health concentration will explore the social, biological, ethical, and political dimensions of global health.

Reykjavik International Film Festival 29/Sep/2014 Reykjavik, Iceland
Macalester College alumni and friends are invited to join Star Tribune film critic Colin Covert '74 in Iceland from September 29 to October 3, 2014, for the Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) and an opportunity to explore this gorgeous and unique country. Cost for the trip is $1,045 and does not include airfare. Limited to 20 alumni and friends of Macalester College. Register by Thursday, July 31.
