See THE MATCHMAKER with Mac Alums in the Twin Cities 16/Jul/2015 Park Square Theater
Girl Friday Productions Artistic Director and Actor Kirby Bennett (`82) invites you to attend a special Macalester alumni outing to see Girl Friday's production of Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker on Thursday, July 16th at 7:30 pm. The Matchmaker will be presented on the new Andy Boss Thrust Stage at Park Square Theatre in the historic Hamm Building in downtown St. Paul. Your ticket price of $24 includes a discounted group rate and an exclusive post-show reception with Kirby and other cast members. Wilder's hilarious farce about love, money and adventure features the signature humanity, wit and relevance of one of America's greatest playwrights. Infused with wry observations about wealth, class, matrimony and employment that speak to us today, The Matchmaker also celebrates the spirit of generosity and living life to its fullest. The production is directed by Ivey Award winner Craig Johnson and features a team of top Twin Cities' designers and a stellar ensemble cast. Girl Friday Productions was selected by Park Square to be one of three theatres in residence through 2017.
